Although aware that neither in this country nor elsewhere is there much attention being paid to the Cyprus issue and its potential impact on Turkey's European bid because of our sincere belief that at least for the sake of the reform process in this country it must be kept on the EU track, we keep on thinking how we can save our EU journey from becoming a hostage of the Cyprus problem and how the EU can be removed from the mortgage of Cyprus."
