"N Cyprus proposes involvement in safeguarding BTC
Northern Cyprus should be involved in ensuring the security of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), the main export pipe to take Azeri oil to world markets, its representative in Azerbaijan has said.
The outlet of the pipeline, which extends till Turkey's Mediterranean port of Ceyhan, is located close to the territory of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. N Cyprus plays a great role in the security of the pipeline, which increases its importance for the states to join the pipeline project, head of the Baku office of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Mustafa Evran, told journalists on Friday."
