"N Cyprus President Talat: We Will Integrate With The World
ISTANBUL - President Mehmet Ali Talat of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said on Saturday, ''isolation of Turkish Cypriots will come to an end, and we will integrate with the world.''
President Talat met Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul.
Following the meeting, the two leaders held a joint news conference.
President Talat told reporters, ''TRNC has been pursuing a stable policy. This policy has brought forth many benefits both in the international area and in the domestic economic structure. TRNC is ready to integrate with the world. Isolation of Turkish Cypriots will come to an end, and we will integrate with the world. We will continue explaining the existing unfair treatment on the island to the world. Turkey's support in this process is of great importance.''"
