When Senkal Atasagun was the head of the Turkish National Intelligence Agency (MIT), a top level MIT authority went to meet with former leader of the PKK terror group, Abdullah Ocalan, on Imrali Island, where he is serving his life sentence.
This was the first contact with Ocalan that the Turkish government had, outside of the initial questioning of the terror leader.
But now, to come to the most interesting aspect of this meeting. Who carried out this meeting in the name of MIT?
