The Anatolia Times: Steps Aiming To Make Turkey An Energy Corridor Will Continue, Erdogan

"In a televised address to the nation, Erdogan recalled that the Blue Stream Natural Gas Pipeline between Turkey and Russia was officially inaugurated two weeks ago.

Erdogan said, ''I would like to thank once again Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi for their support to the project.'' Stating that this project would bring very important opportunities and advantages to Turkey, he indicated, ''Turkey will be one of the most significant energy corridors in the world.'' Noting that several international finance organizations eulogized Turkey, Erdogan said that the latest report of International Monetary Fund (IMF) once again confirmed the successes that have been achieved in Turkish economy.
