"Turkey's E.U. Train Will Reach Its Destination

In an exclusive interview with the Hurriyet daily, British Prime Minister Tony Blair said that Turkey was an honor for the EU.
When asked why Britain supported Turkey's membership, Blair said, ''there are two reasons. First, Europe will benefit from opening up, not from being introverted. The second reason is that Turkey is a country that can become a bridge between Europe and the Arab world.''"
