Impatiently awaited by the arts fans, the 9th International Istanbul Biennial begins at Karakoy Antrepo Number 5 tonight.
Organized by the Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation (IKSV) and prepared by the museum curators, Charles Esche, and Vasif Kortun, the biennial calls art fans to outdoor exhibitions, concerts and conversations until October 30.
'Istanbul' is the theme of the 2005 Biennial."
