"Iraqi airliner lands in Istanbul after 14 years of sanctions

An Iraqi Airways jetliner landed at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport yesterday, reviving the route between Baghdad and Istanbul after a 14-year break in service.
Iraqi Airways jets were forbidden to fly outside the country by international sanctions imposed in 1991 following Iraq's invasion of Kuwait under Saddam Hussein."
