"Raikkonen wins inaugural Turkish GP
Istanbul, Turkey (Sports Network) - McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen won Sunday's inaugural Turkish Grand Prix at the brand new 3.318-mile Istanbul Autodrom circuit. The Finnish driver crossed the finish line 18.606 seconds ahead of runner-up Fernando Alonso.
While Raikkonen started on the pole, it was Giancarlo Fisichella who was the first car to turn one. He got a great jump off the grid and beat the McLaren easily to the first corner. But Raikkonen didn't stay there for long and at turn 12 made a great move around the Italian."
