CAMDEN (July 16): The Art of Turkey Returns to Camden
The Admiral's Buttons invites you to a display and sale of hand-woven carpets, kilims and textiles from Turkey, Central Asia, and the Caucasus to be held August 1 - 4, 2005 at Lord Camden Inn (2nd Floor) from 10 am to 6 pm daily.
Returning for the third time to Camden, Hasan B. Semerci is founding
partner of Adnan & Hasan (Grand Bazaar, Turkey). Hasan is recognized internationally as a Turkish rug expert and has been assisting
international and Turkish clients for over 25 years. He has been
featured in The New York Times, Forbes, and Business Week for his knowledge of traditional carpet weaving cultures. He is joined by his partner Murat Küpçü who opened Double Knot rug gallery in New York City in 2003 after many years of collecting rugs and studying the history and cultures that created them. Both were recently featured on TV's Fine Living Channel. "
