Tourists have showed tremendous interest in the sema ritual performed twice a week at a museum in Konya, reported the Doğan News Agency.

The sema is a ritual of whirling dervishes, who trace their origin to the 13th century. The dervishes, also known as the Mevlevi Order, are Sufis, a spiritual offshoot of Islam."
