Action is steamy as show transfers to the Turkish baths
By Howard Williamson
HARROGATE Theatre is swapping its safety curtain for a bathrobe next month as it goes walk-about.
The cast of the poignant comedy Steaming will promenade around the sumptuous Turkish Baths with the audience in tow.
Innovative artistic director Hannah Chissick opted for a natural setting for the play where the action takes place at the local baths.
Here six very different women find companionship, relax, escape their daily chores and share their secrets and desires. When the baths are threatened with closure, they determine not to go without a fight."
