"Gul Rules out Anti-US Feeling in Turkey
Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said yesterday that there is no truth to reports that Turks harbor anti-American feelings. 'There is no such thing,' he said. He added that polls show the majority of Turks seethe U.S. as a strategic partner.
Another issue Gul mentioned was the European Union.
Foreign Minister, brushing aside recent negative developments, expressed confidence Tuesday that his country will win eventual acceptance into the EU."
