The Turkish government may have a hard time explaining to the European Union that reforms for broadening freedom of expression in the country are still priorities following Justice Minister Cemil �i�ek's harsh remarks on a domestic initiative aimed at questioning Turkey's official position on the tragic World War I-era events that led to Armenian allegations of genocide, an EU diplomat yesterday told the Turkish Daily News.
