Families of soldiers killed by attacks at the hands of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' (PKK) Party yesterday protested against the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling on the possible retrial of the PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan. They later paid a visit to the Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul.

A number of families of dead soldiers and Yildiz Namdar, also known as Nurse Yildiz, the widow of a non-commissioned officer, gathered in Guven Park.

The families protested the ECHR decision concerning Ocalan with a sit-down protest and met with Prime Ministry and Justice Ministry officials."
