Turkish investors, analysts look beyond E.U. politics

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Turkey is not expected to be swayed from market-friendly economic and political reforms aimed at securing European Union membership, even if voters in France and Holland reject the E.U. constitution in the coming days, analysts say.
Voters in those Western European countries chiefly object to what they see as the E.U. constitution's ceding individual country influence, but they also have reservations about widening the union eastward to include Turkey. France holds its referendum May 29, and Holland votes June 1."
