The six-member Gulf Cooperation Council signed a key deal with Turkey to start talks on a free-trade agreement.
Turkish trade official Bayram Kacar said the agreement is aimed at boosting trade relations between Turkey and the GCC, which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. "
