It is proved that the British Army used chemical weapons against the Turkish soldiers during the Gallipoli (Canakkale) Campaign in 1915.

The Turkish Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives documents show that many were killed by the British chemical weapons. It is also documented that the British Army used more illegal methods and weapons during the war. According to the Ottoman Foreign Ministry Documents (2 July 1915) , the Ottoman Government protested the British."
