Today, while Armenians in America, France and other European countries are pursuing claims of 'genocide' allegedly committed by Turks against them, a three-line poem written in Kufi on a historical kilim at the Museum of Ethnography in Ankara, clearly reveals Turkey's liberation struggle against Russian and Armenian occupation.
According to archeological and historical documents, Turks one of the oldest societies in the world, are known for weaving their experiences into carpets, rugs and similar material. Anatolian people always wove their experiences loop in loop, together with sadness and joy, and most of the time these carried the characteristics of historical documents. One of the carpets and rugs that narrate the atrocities committed by Armenians in Anatolia is now at the Museum of Ethnography in Ankara. "
