21 March 2005
BERLIN - German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder warned visiting Greek prime minister Kostas Karamanlis in Berlin on Monday that there would be no postponement of European Union accession talks with Turkey.

Karamanlis stressed that Athens considers it imperative that Ankara sign the customs protocol expanding the EU customs union to 10 new member nations, including Cyprus. "
