The Financial Times Deutschland newspaper wrote yesterday that the Turkish economy is on the right track, but has a long way to go before it makes a complete recovery.
The news-analysis written by Vincent Boland emphasized that Turkish people and the economic and industrial sectors have gained great hope psychologically after the New Turkish Lira (YTL) put into the market. The paper noted that Turkey has achieved the lowest level of inflation since 1972. It set the inflation target at eight percent for 2005 and then pulled it back to a level of six percent for 2006. "
