Turkey will consider demands to recognize European Union member Cyprus only after the 25-nation bloc gives Ankara the green light to begin accession talks, Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said Monday. 'We have expectations. We will consider these issues when our expectations are met, a decision is taken and membership talks begin,' Gul told reporters before leaving for a two-day 'Euromed' meeting of EU and Mediterranean leaders in The Hague.
