Istanbul broke the world record in hotel rates increase
2 September 2011 | The rates of Istanbul's hotels marked the highest increase in the world for the last year, a British business survey announced. Growing interest in the city as a business destination, combined with business travellers opting regularly for five-star accommodation due to security concerns, resulted in room prices plummeting with 37 per cent.
