Turkey’s banking watchdog will tighten supervision of mortgage lending to stop a possible price bubble in the property market.
The regulator plans to authorize independent surveyors to assess a property’s fair value before mortgage lenders can award loans, the regulator in Ankara said on its Web site today. "
