Ankara may well be angry with the Iraqi Kurdish leaders and may not want to establish dialogue out of concern that it does not want to enhance Kurdish autonomy. We can even understand the chauvinist campaigns against some Kurdish leaders… We do not have to approve them but we can see that these are well orchestrated campaigns to draw the public attention abroad and try to find a solution to the PKK terrorism problem abroad."
