Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused the European Union on Saturday of attempting to pressure the country's judiciary regarding the trial of Turkish novelist Orhan Pamuk.
The trial of the Turkish author, which opened on Friday in Istanbul, was adjourned until 7 February 2006. "
