Russian companies are considering the possibility of oil and natural gas transit via Turkey, the Itar-Tass news agency quoted Russian President Vladimir Putin as saying.
"We have a lot of areas for mutual cooperation and the energy sector is among them and the most important," Putin said.
"Several Russian companies are ready to take part in large-scale projects in the Turkish electric power sector. We are ready to increase exports of machinery to Turkey, " Putin added. "
