"Israeli forces kill humanitarian workers in international waters

The IDF has confirmed reports by Turkish media and other sources that its troops have stormed at least one of the ships participating in the aid flotilla which was to land in Gaza today in order to deliver supplies to residents of that territory; estimates of the number of dead currently range from 2 to two dozen as reported by various news outlets and the Israeli army itself. This incident comes less than a day after revelations that Israel has deployed subs equipped with tactical nukes to the Persian Gulf, putting their weapons in range of any target in Iran. In this new light, the deployment could reasonably be assumed to have been a precaution ahead of a likely incident with the long-publicized flotilla, one intended to prompt caution on the part of the Iranian government."
