"Leaks say Turkish Cypriots want more autonomy in solution

LEAKED reports on the Cyprus talks published by the Anatolia news agency reveal that the Turkish Cypriot side is seeking as much autonomy as it can get as part of a federal solution.
The lengthy details were also published by Turkish mainland newspaper Today’s Zaman at the weekend, which said the two sides disagree on much more issues than they agree on.
One of the issues mentioned was that the Turkish side was seeking separate Flight Information Regions (FIR), which the Greek Cypriot side argued was tantamount to asking for two separate states.
Another came under the topic of international agreements made by the federal state."
