"Istanbul homes consume more than the average
ISTANBUL - The Turkish Statistical Institute, or TÜİK, has published a study that shows 23.1 percentage of the total expenditure consumption was generated by households in Istanbul. The Aegean and Mediterranean regions followed Istanbul with percentage rates of 15.1 and 12.6 respectively. Northeast Anatolia had only 2.2 % of total expenditure in households."
