Ankara has strongly ruled out news reports alleging that the Brussels-based European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) has been planning to hand over control of all air traffic in the Middle East and southern Mediterranean regions to Greek Cyprus; nevertheless, Ankara asked Eurocontrol to clarify the reported developments concerning the divided island."
